Mora Hunting Risberg Stainless Steel
Description / Mora Hunting Risberg Stainless Steel
The Mora Risberg Hunting Stainless Steel is a compact and versatile outdoor knife designed as a practical companion for hunters and outdoor users. Its manageable size makes it ideal for smaller field tasks such as carving roasting sticks, preparing feathersticks, opening packaging and other light camp work. Lightweight and easy to carry, it is a reliable knife that stays close at hand when moving around camp or in the field.
The knife shares the same durable construction as the other models in the Risberg range but is intended for smaller and more controlled tasks during outdoor activities. Its balanced design makes it easy to handle and dependable for everyday use before and after time in the field.
The 91 mm blade is made from Swedish 12C27 stainless steel produced by Alleima. This steel is well known for its corrosion resistance, edge retention and ease of maintenance. The blade uses a classic Scandi grind which offers excellent control when carving wood or performing detailed cutting tasks and is easy to sharpen when needed.
The blade runs close into the handle which improves control when working near the edge, giving better stability during precise cutting.
The ergonomic handle is made from durable polypropylene which resists moisture, dirt and cold conditions. It provides a secure grip during use and includes a finger guard for added safety. A lanyard hole at the end of the handle allows the knife to be attached to cord or paracord if required.
The supplied polymer sheath uses a secure click lock system to hold the knife firmly in place. It can be worn on either the right or left side and can also attach directly to the button on outdoor trousers for convenient carry.
Made in Mora, Sweden, the Risberg Hunting continues Morakniv’s long tradition of producing practical knives designed for real outdoor use.

Another difference is the handle design. The Companion uses a rubberised grip designed for comfort during longer use, while the Risberg Hunting uses a durable polymer handle which keeps the knife lighter and simple to maintain.
Both knives use Swedish stainless steel and a Scandi grind, making them easy to sharpen and well suited to general outdoor tasks.
