The Petromax Loki 2 is the perfect woodburning stove whether you're camping in the woods, glamping, on scout camp or just sitting in the shed! The Loki 2 is both a heater and a cooker, all packaged up into one compact unit. The adjustable slider gives you full control over the airflow into the stove which helps to regulate the heat from the fire. A window in the stove lets you keep an eye on the fire without opening the door. The Loki 2 even comes with a ember tray to protect the floor under your stove, although a heatproof mat is advisable.

Petromax Loki 2 Care Guide & Tips

  • Regular Cleaning: You don't need it to be clean inside, however, it's good practice to clean the interior and surfaces to remove ash & soot, remembering to empty the ash pan to ensure it doesn't overflow.
  • Avoid Water: To maximise the life of your Loki 2, ensure it's kept dry, avoid water where possible and if wet then make sure you dry it out fully. Only ever use water to put out a fire in an emergency.
  • Storage: Store the Loki 2 somewhere dry and protect it from moisture to prevent rust and corrosion.
  • Fuel: Use dry wood fuel to prevent excessive smoke, wood found on the ground is usually too wet to burn, if you find dead wood hanging in a tree this can sometimes be seasoned enough to burn.
  • Airflow: Make sure your stove doesn't get too hot, adjust the airflow to keep a steady temperature, also if it's too smokey open the adjuster more to add oxygen to the fire for a hotter burn.
